Good news for open source web developers!!!!!!!
The PHP Group recently released PHP 5.3.10. This version addressed one of the critical security loophole that can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on servers that run with an older version of the PHP platform.
This vulnerability, technically known as CVE-2012-0830, was reported last year by internet security expert Stefan Esser, who is also known for creating the Suhosin security extension for PHP.
It affects a number of web development platforms like PHP, Java, ASP.NET and Python.
So friends, upgrade your PHP version to 5.3.10. PHP is gradually marching step by step to be a full proof and secure server side scripting language.
